Couples who keep a television in their bedroom have sex less than half as often as couples who don't, according to an Italian study. What's more, the study revealed,

... certain programmes are far more likely to impede passion than others. Violent films will put a stop to sexual relations for half of all couples, while reality shows stem passion for a third of couples.

And the premiere of "Brokeback Mountain" on HBO this summer, the researchers predicted, is expected to bring sex to a complete halt for many couples.
